About us
our vision -
a place where people come alive!
“Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life.”
— Ezekiel 37:4
At Inverness Vineyard Church, our vision is simple but powerful: to be a place where people come alive. We believe that when people encounter Jesus, everything changes. What was dead comes to life again. What seemed hopeless is filled with purpose. This vision is more than a tagline—it’s our guiding mission, shaping everything we do as a growing, vibrant Christian community in Inverness.

Our Vision Statement
“We are to be a growing, expectant, pioneering community, following and sharing Jesus in our everyday lives whilst being generous with what’s in our hands. We choose to be a people that don’t settle but are hungry for the advancement of God’s kingdom in every space and place. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we long to see new stories of multiplication: church planting, raising and equipping leaders, and seeing the lost redeemed and restored—for the sake of our city, our nation, and generations to come.”
Our vision inspires us to follow Jesus in faith, live generously, and partner with God in transforming the city of Inverness and beyond.
Our Values
Alongside our vision, we look to live by nine core values that guide how we do church at Inverness Vineyard:
relevant
Living a faith-filled life in ways that are accessible and relatable, no matter your background or experience of church or God.
adventure
We are bold, take risks, and invite others to join us in stepping out in faith.
family
We want people to experience a real, life-giving community. Everyone has a place here, not just in the crowd but in the family of God.
fun!
Church should be enjoyable and full of life! We don’t take ourselves too seriously, but we take God seriously.
worship
We are a people who as part of our whole life worship sing to God—not for anything in return, but to remember His great love and lift His name high.
serving
We are passionate about loving and serving Inverness, Scotland, and beyond, putting faith into action.
The Holy Spirit
We love God’s presence—seeing healing, salvation, and miracles. We partner with Him in His mission and trust His guidance.
the bible
We believe in the power and authority of Scripture. God’s Word is as relevant today as ever, and we teach from it regularly.
generosity
We are a people who give freely of our time, money, and energy, looking at what we have and asking, “How can we use this for God’s kingdom?”
